Teacher
Training or Project: Students choose a 150-hour project
or Teacher Training within the 850-hour program. Guidelines are
provided upon enrollment. Teacher Training involves reviewing
classes, then observing, assisting and co-teaching with a senior
instructor. Teacher training has an additional fee of $1,200.
Documented Clinical Practice: Students are required
to type their documented practice (write-ups), as well as assignments,
and turn them
in at least one week prior to the evaluation. An outline for completing
documentation is given at the time of enrollment.
Advanced Clinical Practice Sessions: Students
are required to attend 20 Advanced Practice sessions, offered
the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, from 5-7pm. A core instructor
answers studentís questions and further integrates assessment
skills.
Private Instructor Consultations: Throughout
the 850-hour program you will receive four hours of individual
guidance/consultation and a one-hour evaluation with an evaluating
instructor of your choice.
Evaluation: Written case studies and other assignments
are required. Upon completion of at least 90% of the required
classes and practice sessions, the student can schedule an evaluation
with an evaluating instructor. After successfully completing the
verbal and hands-on evaluation and turning in all written work
the student will receive an Acupressure Therapy diploma. |
