Soreness is a common symptom of Fibromyalgia.  I’ve had good results relieving soreness, aches and pains, stiffness, stress, worry, overwhelm, and difficulty sleeping using acupressure points under the skull, plus practicing easy deep breathing exercises twice daily, to restore Heaven on Earth.

Qi Gong Breathing Exercises are key for releasing stress and rebalancing your body chemistry to relieve soreness. You’ll have Soreness No Moreness by practicing 20 minutes twice a day, for several months or more – using the Less Stress DVD to do these easy exercises, plus holding the following four acupressure points for 2 to 3 minutes, while breathing deeply.

GV 16 is the center of the skull is good for neck stiffness, general body pains, and the central nervous system.

GV 16 is located in the center of the back of your head, in the large hollow under the base of the skull. This pain point clears the head, benefits the center nervous system, and releases mental stress. GV 16 relieves neck pain, headache, soreness in general, sore throat, hypertension, nightmares, trauma, fear, and insomnia.

GB 20: The Gates of Consciousness is in the hollows below the base of the skull, three finger-widths out from the midline.  GB 20 governs relaxation, the releases of endorphins, benefits the brains, releases trauma, pain, and especially headaches and neck pain.

GV 24.5: The Third Eye Point is between the eyebrows, in the indentation where the bridge of the nose meets the forehead. This acupressure point balances the function of the pituitary gland, anxiety, emotional trauma, and dizziness.

cv6CV 6, The Sea of Energy Point strengthens the body’s internal condition especially the colon, immune system, urinary system, and heightens self-healing. CV 6 is located two finger widths below the center of your belly button. Your finger pressure should always be applied gradually. Go even slower and more carefully into the abdomen if you are elderly, sick or pregnant. CV 6 revives the body’s healing processes; develops vitality; strengthens the immune system, urinary system, sexual reproductive system, and benefits the kidneys.


Breathe deeply to become like a no soreness swan.

You’ll have Soreness No Moreness by practicing at least 20 minutes twice a day, for several months. Be sure to do the Less Stress DVD Qi Gong Deep Breathing Exercises twice a day. Once you get relief and feel better, practice these breathing exercises just once a day for maintenance.  Be sure to relax deeply for 5 to 10 minutes or take a brief nap immediately after practicing to fully discover the benefits.

  1. I love the flow of first holding GV16 then GV 20, Third eye and then CV 6 — doing them in this order is so much more powerful. And thank you for always reminding me to breath as deeply as I want to heal or live! Love you and appreciate you so much!

    • There are certainly limitations here, since acupressure, although it can be helpful in many ways, is not a cure a Diabetic. For this condition, acupressure alone is rather a weak approach without involving diet, along with some of the following: herbs, Homeopathy, yogic therapy, Qi Gong, Reflexology, meditation, daily exercise, affirmations, and most importantly follow your medical doctor’s advice. Certainly use the Sp points, which benefits the Spleen/Pancreas. Start with the acupressure points Sp 4 (on the arch of the foot) with P 6 (on the inside of the wrist) would be helpful, but not a cure.

  2. Dear Michael,

    Sometimes I use both KD6 and B62 to prevent insomnia successfully, though I have a blood vessel just above the point KD6 (it is not a varicose vein). Could I have a problem because of using that point?

    • Those are very good calming points. I want to encourage you to use less pressure and use more of the projection of the healing energy that is naturally in your fingertips. Breathe deeper and send it out through these great points.
